Amy lives on Johns Island, SC and is from Frederick, MD. She has a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (DOL) from Hood College in Frederick, MD, an MBA from American University in Washington, D.C., and a BS from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. Amy is an expert learning and development professional.

October 2015 - Amy became Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certified.
May 2016 - Amy was approved to be a National Fire Academy (NFA) Executive Skills Series Instructor in Leadership, Adaptive Change, and Ethics.

June 2016 - Amy completed the International Public Safety Leadership & Ethics Institute (IPSLEI)'s dual-certification class to become a Facilitator of the IPSLEI Leadership Development Programs and Instructor of the Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Studies Program.

August 2016 - Amy became a Faculty Instructor for the American Management Association to teach sales, customer service, and emotional intelligence classes internationally.

September 2016 - Amy became an approved Adjunct Professor for the MBA Graduate and Undergraduate Business programs at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.

August 2017 - Amy became an approved Adjunct Professor for the Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) Business Management Department at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland.

August 2017 - Amy became a Certified Facilitator for RightPath Resources' Path4, Path6 and LQ360 behavioral assessments to train organizations and individuals in leadership development and team productivity improvement.

January 2018 - Amy became a Certified Contract Seminar Leader for Pryor Learning Solutions to train nationwide in Leadership, Management, Communication, Project Management, and Online Marketing.

September 2021 - Amy has a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (DOL) from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, which she completed while running her business and contract training full-time.

2022-2024 - Amy developed and delivered leadership development programs and team meeting facilitation using DiSC and Gallup CliftonStrengths assessments for team development and cohort peer learning, receiving 5/5 client ratings for her work.
​
October 2024 - September 2027 - On September 24, 2024, Amy was appointed by the Mayor of the City of Charleston, SC for a 3-year term as a member of the Commission on Women.
